Greenway, Ek, Fiala, Donato among several that have been rather insignificant so far in the young season. Thought Greeway would be in a much bigger role this season but so far he's done little in the way of "breaking out".

Who wants to start the countdown timer to "total rebuild"?!!! Could possibly start after tonights loss...

The "total rebuild" is a nice idea, but that means trading away players like Parise, Suter, Staal...who is going to take on those contracts? As my understanding of the Parise and Suter contracts, even if they were traded away, if that team eventually just bought them out, then the cap recapture penalties would still fall on the Wild. That makes it even more difficult to trade those contracts away, as I team could virtually screw over the Wild by doing buyouts. The Wild are such a mess now that the "total rebuild" is kind of an impossible path to take as well.

It's up the players to say funk this, we are going to start winning games and play all 3 periods and all 20 minutes of each period. A player doesn't want to play here anymore, fine...start playing good and we can trade you away then. You don't want the twilight of your career to playing on a horse spit team, fine...start playing well and raise the play of those around you. This entire roster (except maybe Rask) are NHL'ers, they HAVE to up their games and pay like it.

Parise is almost a lock to finish his career on LTIR anyway, no? With multiple old and overpaid players developing career-ending injuries and illnesses, it should be pretty easy to place Parise on LTIR in a couple of years due to chronic back pain or something along those lines.

Suter might be more difficult to LTIR, but then again with the way he plays and avoids getting hit with his skating and hockey sense like Lidstrom, Neidermeyer, D.Keith, he should still have a few more solid years left anyway.

You know what's going to be funny but effectively heartbreaking???...

When Kaprisov decides to stay in the KHL for another 3 years...

I mean seriously, watching what's gone on with this squad over the last season and change he's gotta be terrified to actually consider signing with this club...

Wait a sec, I thought they had at least 14 at one point. Did the official scorers decide to take a couple of shots away?

No, he posted that less than half way into the 3rd period, but i think they only ended up with like 17 or 18 SOG
