People keep saying the offense needs to show up. The offense is what it has been for the last few years. Our GF has gone down the last 2 years and the GA has gone up every year for the last 4. Not much future in those stats. We have no goal scorers, without tip-ins or deflections we can not score consistently and will not until we get a natural goal scorer.
BINGO!

....long season, it's gonna be a long, long season.

Did anyone else get the idea that the Jets started this game off like "bah, it's the Wild, we can beat them easily". Then, when in the locker room after being down 1-0 after the 1st, they all looked at each other and were like, huh, we actually have to play a little bit, then basically took over the game from then on? Those last 2 periods was like watching someone dangle a piece of yarn in front of a kitten, only to pull it away when the kitten thinks it can grab it?

Are the Wild going to be the worst team in the NHL this year?

At least Staal looked to have found his lost step over the previous couple of games. What a difference the 1st period compared to the last 2 were last night. It actually looked like the Wild had the Jets scrambling. I know Foligno started on the top line last night, but I think the Foligno/JEE/Hartman line is probably the best one right now. At least Hartman can score once in a while. Oh, and look...another dman scored last night. Donato just looks like he is over-matched with the speed of the game, send him to Iowa and bring up Mayhew. And this team needs a sniper, but it needs someone (or someones...that's plural) to actually carry the puck into the offensive zone. 1 period and a few other shifts do not win games. I tried to hold a positive attitude for the Wild before the season started, but it's looking worse than last year and I can't stand it. Someone tell Greenway that he is a man and not a cuddly little soft puppy. Maybe BB needs to tell the team, yes, play the system, but feel free to be a little more creative sometimes as well. And BB should bench Suter the next time he dumps (yea, dump and chase) when he has a lane to carry the puck in.

And "Y u scratch Rask?"....hahahaha....now that's funny.
