I'd think Winnipeg would want Severson, Bratt and either a prospect or another player like Wood. And I'm not sure they like those guys enough to do it. Maybe they want some picks. But whatever rational you have for why Laine isn't worth a lot, they are going to want a lot before moving him.

He isnt a need anymore we have the luxury of waiting for great deals. We have Nico, Jack, Hall, Goose and Subban as star guys something we havent had in a while. If im moving those pieces its for a Laine that never dipped last season or I wait for a better deal.

All our players are signed and we are on to building chemistry so for me to completely disrupt that for the Jets sake I would need a better deal and I also want to show my guys that I believe in them so again it would take a significant discount especially whebln you look at his Performance last season.

You can't add with out subtraction. The best you can do is cut a very favorable deal.

I'd agree the current state of our team wouldn't make it worthwhile to chase after Laine. I wouldn't want to give up a lot of real assets.

If you can pull a style Kovy trade and give them a lot of mediocure stuff then fine... but if I'm the Jets I'm not doing that.
