Except it was NYlander who caved, not Dubas. |

Those look great. Very bushy and big for the container size too. If you did the same technique in bigger buckets they'd be monsters. As is these are gonna crank out a ton of herbs. - Zezel
I’m gonna double the pot size next year. Not sure if you saw last thread, but I posted pics of the buds, they’re looking decent. |

Make him the highest played player in the league!....or just tell him to get F#%ked and make him sit out the entire season - hotshotbeer
Looking more likely since his camp turned down a contract that would see him be overpaid by literal millions.
I think he'll be signed, but he's gonna have to smarten the (frank) up. |

I've used 5 gallon food buckets before for tomatoes and peppers. Takes a ton of mix but the plants were huge. Gotta say this is the first time I used Pro Mix, got the big bales of it from home de pot, and it is the greatest, plants went insane on it. |

That’s what I’m using, and a fertilizer.
My neighbours have the same plants but put them in the ground in June and they grew taller, but not nearly as bushy. And my buds are wayyyy bigger than his. I’m hoping the smaller pots help grow fatter buds because I constantly have to water it lol.. and when I flush them, it’ll be quicker. |

Oh for sure!
When they need water, they’re really light. One and a half (sunny) days I give them 1.5 gallon water w/fert. Slowing down a bit now with less direct sunlight though. |

I was told in 2012 that there was a 15 year old kid named Mitch Marner who was sick at hockey but his dad was a female dog.
Dude was right. |

Holy poop this contract stuff is getting out of hand.
Why can’t we just enjoy the team without talking salaries the whole time. It’s making fan bases hate their own players. Once marner gets signed (and he will) we have t-minus 3 minutes before guys start talking about Rielly and andersens next contract....not to mention Barrie this season.
We have a good team, these guys will sign. |

If this is all true or not at this point hardly matters. Friedman is basically as good as confirmed for a lot of hockey fans. This isn't Eklund or some blogger.
Leafs have all the power here. This is a bit like taking your sixteen yr old daughter to buy her first car, and she demands a convertible or nothing. Maybe you go a little sportier than you were thinking to make her happy. But at the end of the day if she doesn't cooperate you just drive home with no car and she sits in her room mad with nowhere else to live.
Leafs will make the playoffs without Marner. There is zero rush to sign him. Let him sit, and watch him lose a couple million. Millions he can never get back. If he sits the whole year he loses a year of free agency eligibility. Millions more.
Leafs need to bite the bullet and play hardball. It's good for the leafs. It's good for the league. |

Hahaha yeeesss exactly how it feels.
Let him sit! And if he doesn't like it and demands a trade, dubas should say "okay, but you are going to the media to explain that you want out of toronto because 11 mill a season wasn't enough..." then we can wait until later in the season for a solid trade. |

The mistake was paying anyone more than Tavares. Once they signed him it should have been known 11 was the max. Many teams have done this and even announced it publicly. But quietly Matthews was able to not only get more than a seasoned vet UFA, he also got to max out his potential for his next deal and walk to UFA status. This is why all these RFA's are not signed. They all want something like what Matthews got. Big money, 5 year term so they can get max dollars in UFA asap. Dubas and the Leafs did this to themselves and have no one else to blame. Remember Matthews had no more leverage than Marner does now, but they gave in very, very easily. Other Gms must hate Kyle Dubas. |

Yeah, makes sense. It set the precedent for these guys. But I doubt other teams bend the same way,you already see some free agents signed up for their deals. |

Yes, because salaries didn't inflate before Kyle Dubas came along. |
