Wouldn't this just be a lot easier for you to admit that you don't know her from a franking hole in the wall, you're upset that Marner hasn't signed, and that you took a cheap shot at Marner's mother out of frustration?

Seems to me it would be a lot faster and easier than continuing with your douche act.

- Atomic Wedgie

If he did that, it would reduce this thread by about 8 pages of worthy comments.. No one wants that.

I am absolutely not upset with Marner not having signed yet - i've been saying for over a month after 15th sept nhlpa cba decision.
Of all players on the leafs, i like his play most because of his vision and creativity - so i guess he's my favorite player from that perspective. Still doesnt change the impression i have from his mother.

It's become a bit of a sickness with me (usually ask, they will let you sneak one out). But I'm running out of cupboards at home.

We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Maine this summer. Entire family had the lobster dinner, and the local brew in a beautiful pint glass. I didn't "obtain it" - and now every time I look at the picture from the dinner, it bugs the poop out of me.

Yup it is a sickness.

I agree he isnt the right choice for captain - i was just saying it could be part of his discussion. Could help with his sponsorship deals as well.

I used to ask if I could buy their fancy beer glasses when I was at a bar/pub and they pretty much always just said I could have it. Once in a while they actually would make me pay but that's fine. Definitely beats stealing them, it's guilt-free. My beer glass selection is better than most bars now and quite a few of the glasses are one-offs you can't really get anywhere now.

My "coin jar" is a big round beer stein from Frank Vetere's, stolen, like 30 years ago or something

I'm just here to point out that I love the fact that you take out the time to type 'franking' instead of letting the filter do it for you.

We had big long coats, as was the "alernative" fashion at the time.

I walked out with the beer stein, and a Plant that night. Don't ask me why the plant. Those years were pretty much a solid drunk.

re: Konecny

Bob McKenzie
@TSNBobMcKenzie
The crux of the problem seems to be PHI is basing its offer on the fact Konecny has averaged just under 15:00 TOI in his first three seasons but the player’s counter argument is that he’s amongst the better even-strength goal-scorers for his age/experience over last two seasons.

So players note even-strength goals when looking at contracts

There used to be one at the corner of Yonge and Carlton - a friend used to go with his dad before Leafs games (the parents were divorced - dad was the classic "big event when I see you every other weekend dad). But I don't remember ever going there.

But there was one at Lawrence and Don Mills - we had more than a few family meals there.

I was just reading this article:

https://www.blogto.com/ea...taurants_of_days_gone_by/

Now I'm obsessed with finding a glass.

WOWZERS

He had six goals and a career-high 31 points in 59 games this past season. He added one assist in six playoff games.

Gardiner should have held out for 9 million!

Laine getting 11-12 million?

Crazy time folks...

- Hockey_Reverend

Term. He probably would have signed for ~4 milly on a 3 or 4 yr deal but to get all 8 years it get bumped up to $6.25.
