Oh there are so many and really it's all about your taste, which is subjective. I wasn't saying you were wrong at all, so I hope you didn't take it that way. I haven't been to Oregon, but I've heard great things about their beer scene. Did you get to try any Great Notion out there?

i didn't take it that way. I don't think we tried Great Notion ...we didn't do their brewpub. We actually only did Portland proper for 2 days ..we were their on a boys trip to climb Mt. Hood and do some general debauchery so most of our time was in the interior and then back up along the coast.

I remember Yacchats ....really good. Sunriver, Rogue, ...in Portland Wayfinder, and a few others.

Totally. Sitting at a roadside brewpub overlooking the Pacific with 5 good friends a couple of days after climbing a mountain ....a half drank can of Molson Ex with a cigarette butt in it would taste good.

It really depends on the cover though.

I know the VHS covers for Ordinary Peepholes, Shaving Ryan's Privates, and Driving Miss Daisy all gave me a good indication of what the whole story was.

It's become a bit of a sickness with me (usually ask, they will let you sneak one out). But I'm running out of cupboards at home.

We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Maine this summer. Entire family had the lobster dinner, and the local brew in a beautiful pint glass. I didn't "obtain it" - and now every time I look at the picture from the dinner, it bugs the poop out of me.
