As much as I would love to stop (I really want to) the corn and peanuts haven't gone through yet.

i imagine they'll gradually keep sucking the fun out of it until we all lose interest.

i don't enjoy the sport of basketball but i r00t for all the philly teams and i do think they're pretty good and could win a title in this window of opportunity.

It's surely the case for most players before they go pro. But human beings can react in many different ways in front of crazy amounts of money

Agents often protect the players from their own ignorance. You hire the agent to have poopty conversations you don't want to have and likely aren't qualified to have. A couple years ago in the NFL Richard Sherman signed with the 49ers and acted as his own agent...the NFLPA stepped in because a lot of the stuff in there was so team friendly and he just wasn't aware of some of the conditons and stipulations and how it would impact him especially coming off a major Achilles injury. The 49ers acted in good faith and adjusted the already signed deal but it shows the danger and risk.

All this to say agents are a necessary evil
