Expect the unexpected.

KK could very well center a top6 line and Domi could play wing.

Or Bergy could trade.

pretty accurate. I see Thompson centering the 4th, Hudon as 13th. both Poehling and Suzuki in Laval to start the season.

all in all, we should have a similar season as last year, very entertaining but no cigar.

and you wanna know something? if MB doesn't make significant trades to improve his team, the year after that will be the same, even with Poehling and Suzuki making the team.

I agree, Poehling will really need to step it up to be in the lineup starting night. KK was able to do it last year because well they were poop. Bar is a little higher for a rookie this year. Not saying he can't do it but it seems less likely, more because of the coaching in Laval looking better re. development than in previous years.

I think he could do it, but they will prefer to have him play big minutes in Laval instead of 4th line in MTL

I guess it depends on what they think he needs to work on and how well developed he is mentally. 4th line duties could be huge for him if they think he needs to be around a higher end caliber of professionals

worse case, he'd certainly be the first one called up if needed.
would be nice imo to let him play with Suzuki, on the same line, in Laval. and then bring them both to play together in Mtl after x-mas or next year.

I think I'd like to see Evans called up first. Just give him a taste.

Jake Evans, Rocket's 2nd scorer last year, 23, 2014 7th round?

I predict he'll acquire another 4th line grinder before the season starts.

Pretty sure that's why they pay an equipment manager.

He's a good prospect but I doubt he'll ever amount to anything more than a fringe NHL player if he ever gets a chance in the big league.

I still don't see how this team makes the playoffs... unless Price steals 10+ games.

Unless they play like last year but manage to finish top 15 in PP goals.

Gotta say I don't really like their chances as well but we never know.

TB, BOS, TOR, WSH, PIT, and CAR (6)are more than likely a lock.

NYI, NYR, and NJD will fight for that 7th/8th spot, Habs will be in there somewhere.... only hope is that those Metro teams (including CBJ) beat the tar out of each other and the Habs slip in.

Still like the 3 NY area teams chances ahead of the Habs.

Je crois que la saison de l'équipe-école pour une fois pourrait être plus intéressante que celle du CH cette année. Ils auront plus de talent que l'an passé et les séries seront à portée de main.

Play like last year and land around 20th in PP and they could make it, if everyone else stays the same... I agree though they are on the outside looking in right now

Not a whole lot of room for anyone to take a spot.

I think we’re gonna see a more focused group from the get go, unlike last year when their captain was gone til when, december?
