I always get a kick out of people who make a statement like "you don't understand stats" or some other stupid statement like that.
My hockey friends and I have followed stats before they were even a " thing", doesn't mean I know more or less than someone else.
We had a stat way back when when, that made AHL scrubs, look like superstars, it is all about the information provided into the stat. As my analytical friends say, "we can make anyone look good ...or bad"

I wonder what kind of bonus money can get carried over, when Hughes Juolevi and Petterson reach the milestones, set out in their ELC's?
Looks to me like about a 5 million dollar carryover.
That type of money, can drastically hurt any team that has a Steve Austin type contract hanging over its head, A Luongo recapture, and a few other questionable contracts.
Hopefully the cap goes up, more than the predicted 1.5 million for the 2020-21 seaso.

Before camp and a reasonable 6 year deal. If they can get Brock for a 5 year deal. He will end a year after Horvat. 3 year deal means he will also get a new contract when Beagle and Roussell expire. 4 year deal means Horvat, Miller, Ferland.

Not as if they aren't going to get a poop ton of money. All they are really doing is taking money away from their teammates. Might be the stars of the team at a young age but I guess it's money or cups. Kids are choosing money.
