If he does, it won't be for 10M.

At least I don't think so.

First Blood was actually OK.

The second one was perhaps the worst movie ever made, and I truly believe it plays a small role in the rise of stupidity over reason on the part of American conservatives (no, I am not joking).

I never saw the third one.

I've seen about 20 minutes of the 4th one on TV (not all at once). Something weird about people needing to run across a football field of mud while they are machine-gunned.

So I really feel like I need to see the last one.

Apparently Stallone is 72 years old. This seems to me to be about as bad an idea as Indiana Jones IV, where I worried the entire movie that Harrison Ford was about to break a hip.

And for the record, I kinda liked Rocky Balboa. Creed was franking terrible, and I refused to see Creed II.

Maybe he’s right. I know I’ve been reevaluating my sad life after he pointed out how big a loser I an because I was happy that Bianca won the US Open. In fact, this whole happiness thing is extremely overrated.

Rambo 3 is hilarious when viewed now. He helps the Taliban.

Give the last Rambo film a chance. Very well made and has a great pace.

I was a little confused about a guy coming onto a hockey website to tell you that you were a loser for following sports.

Howie: Deal or no deal? You can the 3 year offer or any of the other year terms except 5. What are you going to choose?

If I"m an RFA, I'm waiting until after September 15th.

Whether or not the players opt out of the CBA really effects how I want my contract structured.

I'm guessing that Marner and Dubas have talked about lockout-proofing his contract. You can't really do that perfectly until you know when the lockout may be coming.

My wild, no-inside-info guess is that none of these RFAs will put pen to paper until the NHLPA announces the opt-out or opt-in.

If you're not still up by 3am you're a loser. If you went to sleep early enough to wake up at 3am you're the biggest of losers. Loser.

Great write-up Lucas!! But, I have to disagree as well. I don't think Marner will sign long-term. And, if 8 years he would want WELL OVER 10.

I think the Matthews 5 year deal has the Marner camp wanting the same. It is soooo player friendly to hit the open market so young. If Marner can get the 10 or 10.5 over 5 I think he signs it. If not, I envision a cheaper 8-9 million 3 year deal....but thinking the Leafs don't like either of those options. Thus, nothing signed yet.

If I had to make ONE guess. 3 year deal. 8.5 million.

Done the first week of the season.

Sounds about right. Misses camp, has rough start to season, we all complain.
