Holmstrom hurt again. Kid can’t seem to stay healthy.

Barzal will definitely be waiting a little while before signing any sort of extension. There is very little benefit for him to sign a new deal before the current batch of RFA's sign their deals.

It's nuts isn't it? Now that you have the Yotes deciding they just want to wreck the market with RFAs, who knows what these guys will sign for.

Mason Jobst wearing No. 66 at #Isles prospect camp. No respect.

Stape going heavy on the sarcasm this morning. Reminder that Jobst is kid from Ohio State that played for 4 years. Small, Fast and good player. He was captain the last 2 years at OSU. Long shot to ever make NHL but good 2 way player with speed.

Well its official, Isles went from Lehner to Varlamov so they won't make the PO's.

For me the Islanders defense first system and Korn and Co. helped Greiss and Lehner have the season they had.
Both played like dog Shat the year before last and all of a sudden both were that much better?
Whats the common denominator for both?
