Not sure if this was discussed, Keller got $7 mil average. If Nico has a breakout year, he could ask for 8-9. I'll gladly sign that over 8 yrs, but that would be 2-3 more mill I was banking on.

Keller put up 0.68 ppg, Nico put up 0.65. Both are great skaters with fantastic vision. I think this is a very good comp when weighing in on potential extensions. I hope Ray can lock down Nico around 7M AAV before the season starts. Otherwise Nico will only rise in value. Getter done Ray

If Ray can get Nico for under $8 million on an eight year deal, the Devils would be blessed, I just think it will be bigger if he has a monster season this year...with Hall back I expect it will be.
