Saad could hit 30 if he plays on PP2, which I think he will.

Not that it matters much - the point is taken - but are those US$ or Canadian?
- StLBravesFan

I'm pretty sure those are in US$.

I think you see 90 from Kane and El Gato combined. Toews gets +30 again.

They will be a top 5 scoring team as long as no one important gets injured.

Id predict Dach in the Calder running if he plays with Saad and Shaw for most of the year.

They'll score a bunch of goals. I think they'll be much better then people are expecting relatively speaking anyway. In a league with this much parity, even with the slight bump in talent they will see, it'll make a big difference especially since the Jets and Preds both got worse.

I think it'll be the Hawks sitting in the one or two spot in the central pretty much end to end.

I'm putting Adb in the 40 range again. I don't see Perlini coming back, so I'll give some of his goals to to the bottom 6 players. I think Sikura starts to find the twine this season.

One person that I think will exceed fans expectation for goals is Caggiula. He had 12 goals in 55 games last year. 7 in 29 games with Edmonton and 5 more in 26 with Chicago. He got some Top 6 time with Kane/Toews and I could see him finding some shifts with those two again. If he stays health, he has a shot to score 15+.

Brock Boeser is looking for 4 years at $7m. Can Stan then get ADB signed for around $8m?

Contract length is becoming an interesting topic. I would think the Canucks would want to lock up Boeser for more than 4 years, the same with the Hawks and DeBrincat.

Is DeBrincat worth more or less than Boeser? I'd say more.

Olli Määttä turns 25 today. He's getting a bit long in the tooth and I think it's time for Stan to start exploring trade options.

If the forwards truly commit to being more defensively responsible, the goal total may go down a bit.

I am going out on a limb and predict that Crawford will score one goal this year.

Tyler what a whirlwind of a head spinning article.

Lol .
Some of your points I'd agree with Kane, toews and cat taking a step back.

I think with the depth Chicago added and the retooling of the defense and goaltending

I see a more balanced team overall with Chicago's forward group putting up easily 20 to 30 goals more.

Strome I think will have 20 goals but his assists will be in the mid 40s

Nylander I'm going with 15 goals I honestly think the change in scenery will rub off on him like it did for strome.

Dach I think wins rookie of the year that's my prediction

JC's new system plays two goalies and four skaters it could happen.

NYLANDER with 6 tucks? Blackhawk fans, he's a bust. Traded there best D prospect for a player that wont play 50 NHL games.
- cbrandt

That D prospect is a legend...in his father's mind make sure he gets his "Participation Award."

I don't know wy I let posts like this bother me.

Especially from a fan of a team who last management and coaching leadership's was a bust, whose current star, Jack Eichel has been criticized for not stepping up into a true leadership role, and has put a big Finnish kid Rasmus Ristolainen, who was drafted early, in enough situations that his development and confidence has diminished.
Good luck worrying about the future of a former Sabre prospect, as it is similar to a child giving the raspberries with his tongue and lips.
Your concerns should be with making sure your new smaller Finnish defender is in better on ice situations than your staff has put Ristolainen.

I'll laugh if he becomes a top 6 forward. Buffalo is on the long list of franchises that don't have a clue.

Well unless Buffalo makes a trade, Joki won't be in the NHL either next year. for right handed shots they have
Risto, Bagrozian, Miller, and Montour.
