You think Pancake and Bobski are going to get their jersey's up in Columbus?

Luongo played longer here. Played for a era as starter and fell one game short. First ballot HOF goalie. Resume speaks for itself.

FWIW, Luongo played longer as a Canuck than some of the others...but he played longer as a Panther than as a Canuck.

Agree he has a stellar resume!

at this point, they should just put up initials. they're going to run out of room.

JB's drafting is going to cause problems for the Jersey retirement and ring of honour for sure.

Who cares! 8 years in one spot is more than enough, same amount as Bure, Roy, Hull... so many guys who have had their jerseys raised

How about a giant word jumble with everyone's name? make the fans find the names.

We need a 2nd ring of honor for the players who demanded trades.

Where's red mile.....

OJ just surpassed him as a better prospect now. I mean since Valimaki passed him when because OJ got injured.

IT's just right.

Thanks Carol, just in time!

A big no to retiring #1. Lu is certainly the best goalie in franchise history, and will be a hall of famer but he will go in as a panther. If they’re going to retire Lu’s number, they might as well retire #11 too...

Pay for a luxury suite, get your name on the ring of honour. We are all Canucks.

Luongo will get more then an acknowledgement as he was the only star player and later a core top player on some pretty good Canuck teams. Like so many Canuck stories we were left disappointed with the end result.

Kirk Maclean wore the same number but got his ring of honor. So the logical step is the Canucks will retire Luongo's jersey. Get it over with over during the 50 year celebrations of what could have been. Might as well pick Saturday Feb. 22 when the Bruins visit.

I'm okay with all the Jerseys retires with the exception of Naslund.

Love Naslund and think he's underrated in many ways by this fanbase but he didn't impact the organization the same way Smyl, Linden, Bure and the Sedins did.

No to Luongo, hell of a player and was a very important part of this teams success but not as much as the 5 above.

Lol...am I?...its tailor made Canuck irony. Maybe that's when Demko is declared the new #1...uh #2 but Markstrom isn't traded because of you know... the play-off push.
