I know, his rookie year he was a beast, but he kinda took a step back, and had many Tampa fans questioning his capabilities. As it stands, they have 14M cap space next season, but have yet to sign Point (90+ points), Sergachev, Cernak. That won't fit in the 14M constraints and they would only have 7 forwards and 5 D inked at that time. Something has to give, and maybe it is McDonagh, but he has a NTC and produces every year. I have a hard time seeing a cash strapped team invest so much in just their LD.

Hey Speedy Larsson, what would your proposal be? Given what teams are paying to get out of cap issues largely factors into the discounted talent going the other way. It is less likely to happen than any Eklund trade, just me arm-chair GM'ing. I am happy Ray is running this ship, believe me.

Tampa has a Richard load of great dmen last season and did a lot of rotating regardless of play. Sergachev isn’t going anywhere especially for Zajac, a position they don’t need to fill
