As an Ontarian I can say I have never once considered living in Buffalo being better. The only good thing about Buffalo is that they have an NHL team.

I saw my team win the cup multiple times as a kid and go to the finals as an adult. Your team only ever won when there were 6 teams in the league. We know our team is bad. But I don’t want to be in a pissing contest about whose team is pooptier. Historically the Leafs are worse. Now the Oilers are.

Exactly lol, we are the only team in the NHL to have a dynasty in the modern era. I remember watching it on TV, leafs fans have to hear about the good old days from their grandparents.

So you must mean in the last 30-40 years? If so you seem to be forgetting about the Canadiens and Islanders whom both won 4 cups in a row. Edmonton only two in a row.
So at the very least you are leaving two very deserving teams out of your dynasty listings!

I mean that a very large portion of Oilers fans who saw them win the cup 5 times are still alive today and have the luxury of seeing their hometown team dominate the NHL the way that they did. Nobody from the canadiens era is on the internet right now, they are being served pate peas and carrots from a plastic spoon from their nurses right now or having roses planted on their headstones after they died of old age.

Ya, no........ I grew up in Southwestern Ontario, so perhaps I am biased, BUT I live on the west coast now, and last year I took my wife and kids to Ontario to visit family. My wife has never been to Ontario, and was pleasantly surprised with few places especially the Niagara region. We went into the states to do some shopping, and her take away from our visit to Buffalo, and the surrounding area was "ugh, why would anyone want to live on this side? It's dirty here..."
