I was trying to compare all of our dmen and Schultz isn't there. I compared Gudbranson/Johnson and it was pretty ugly, both of them. Gudbranson was far better defensively, but everywhere else they were just as lame.

All this hate is making me wanna see Jacko succeed. Get used to it I guess.

There's just a reality about player that's played 13 seasons and hasn't improved their game. I know that's a small sample size, but hey, it's the best indicator we got.

So what I got from this was that Kris Letang is bad at age.

I suggest everyone compare Simon and Galchenyuk. Simon showed better in every area by more than a little except in offense and Galchenyuk was only marginally better.

Riikola isn't on there either. My guess is they used a TOI filter to only get regulars or else the chart would be way too big.

She took the top 372 forwards and 186 dmen apparently, so anyone who missed significant time or didn't play enough games didn't get in. Multi-year data coming soon, so it's just 18/19 for now.

Wait: Jack Johnson played all 82 games last year, primarily getting top-4 minutes,and had ONE GOAL!? I didn't realize that he had ONE GOAL all season.

When he first came up, had some hype first first season or 2 in LA. People assumed his defensive game would come around...well, it didn't, and his offensive game dried up too.

Knuble was primarily a checker, they needed to find someone to compliment Thornton and Murray in Boston, and he just clicked. Same in Philly, he just worked with Forsberg and Gagne.

Regardless, despite what Barnaby says, I would LOVE if all of a sudden he figured something out and could be an average dman; that would make a HUGE difference for the Pens.

Johnson is at the very least a decent skater, so him figuring how hockey would be a huge positive for this team, but after 13 seasons I'm going to throw my hands up.
