It would be so nice if they can trade JJ, he is just so bad and negatively impacts everyone he plays with. Ryan Wilson will also have to come up with something new to write on besides bashing JJ, however deservedly it is.

I occasionally pop in here to read some fellow pend fans' in sight. Nothing more, nothing less. But my God man, YOU are the biggest loser on here. You seem like the WOW loser guy from that south park episode, continuously clicking refresh on every comment thread so you can share the fact that you have no life considering how much time you spend on here(24/7). Do something productive or maybe get a girlfriend. My god man do something else than visit this site and nerd stat sites that you can copy and paste. OR... great idea!!! How bout you actually watch a game!!!!

Rutherford was interviewed stating he tried dealing Jarry, sounds like Petts won’t be signed until cap space is created (which makes sense), and he’s in no rush to extend Murray since he’s still an RFA

Really enjoyed this blog RW...even though it was a vehicle for more JJ bashing, it was interesting and informative.

If you look closely there's also Geno and Petts praising in there as well...and the blog was mainly about Geno.

That +36 with Petts is bananas. That chart was some really good signs. Hopefully it continues this season.

This article was about Malkin and the impact d-men deployed with him have.

It is actually crazy. I'm getting uncomfortable with Petts not being signed and while all signs point to it getting done, it isnt, and sh!t happens sometimes...

I'd say he tried trading Jarry right around the Tokarski signing.

I'd say he's attempted a lot of moves the past month or so and nothing worked out.

Since we have 23 on the roster right now, that means we have to move out a contract before the season starts if we sign Petts, right? (ignoring salary cap implications).

There are lots of good follows out there on twitter for this kind of content. It would’ve taken me a lot longer to find some of these guys like Sean Tierney without RW, Boyd led me to The Point, but I think I was the one who brought Micah’s work to the comment section. I’m not a subscriber of his but for only like $5 you can access to a ton of good stuff (I’m not Micah advertising, just throwing the guy a bone)

Micah is great. He’s been doing Viz’s for as long as I can remember. When bringing stuff to the comments section I always try to keep it with linked images so people don’t have to leave the board since not everyone has Twitter. Twitter was always a pain the Richard to get images from too, like your can’t get the actual link to the images to use the tags on HB. Gotta screenshot and re upload and poop.

I am skeptical on GMJRs ability to move out anyone

Almost EVERY top team seemingly has a player they want to "move out" and when you look at it, only 3-4 teams actually have any capspace, and at least one (Ottawa) won't be taking on any contracts whatsoever, let alone bad ones

The others I figure are LA, Columbus and NJ - LA being the only team I think would eat a dud like JJ since they are full rebuild

I don't know, there are a lot of teams with a lot of cap space per CapFriendly. I know there are a lot of RFAs and FAs yet to sign which will change this.

I think we end up moving Rust as he is the only redundant player without a NTC, our big FA "splash" was to sign his position / role, and it creates enough space to sign Petts and have some left over, barring a larger trade.

Dumping JJ seems more and more like a pipe dream.

But rosters have to be at 23 when the season starts, correct?

There are still a handful of RFAs that need to sign. That may be one reason it looks like a lot of teams have cap space (admittedly, I haven’t glanced yet. Just guessing here.)

I typically hate the heat map charts... but this one was pretty damn simple and straightforward.

Only question... why did he focus on Malkin and 1 Dman, and not a pairing?
