Solid write up. Very thorough and you got your point across using multiple stat lines. 5.16 definitely seems rich for a 3C. It’ll be interesting to see what they end up doing. They’re still going to be a good team but with cap space at an all time premium it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out

Side note: I could see Miller getting 30/30 playing with Boeser and Petts. My big question there is will he get PP1 minutes

I still think Palat could be great if he can nip the injury but for 9/10 of a season. I admit he disappears at times, but I want to chalk that up to injuries.

I feel like Stammers has always had a sub-par 5v5 line. He somewhat reminds me of Laine, tho Laine is certainly the most irrelevant player in the league when not parked on the top of the circle. Great trigger, unreal accuracy, but not able to make your fellow line-mates better. I mean no disrespect to 91, but his two way game is not stellar, and whether Gourde notches another 20+ goal campaign on Stams line or another really is not the issue.

I actually really like Gourde. He had about 2 months of pure snake-bitten frustration, but never stopped working.

That said... he's a little too close to Johnson for what he offers... and I'd prefer to keep Gourde.

Vasy re-signed at 9.5M for 8 years. I wish it was a million lower per year but when Bob signed in Florida for 7 X 10M that set the market. Getting him under 10M I feel is a good deal for the Bolts. Vasy is 25, Bob is 30 so over the life of the contract the Bolts should come out better.
