Karine Hains: Looking Ahead (and a Little Bit Back): Brendan Gallagher Since the 2012-2013 lockout shortened season, Brendan Gallagher ha been a fixture on the Canadiens roster making is way up to the first line. Looking ahead to the 2019-2020 season, what awaits the team's top right winger?

I agree.

But I don't think Poehling is seen as a potential RW while Suzuki has played the position before (despite mostly playing C).

I'd remove Suzuki, replace him with Byron on the 2nd line RW and play Cousins on the 4th.

And you’d send Suzuki to Laval?

Unless the kid rocks the camp, he'll spend most of the year in Laval.

I'd go with this unless Bergy gets a RW (he should at least try)

Yup, I think he'd benefit from at least ½ a season with Bouchard and they could recall him after that if he's really dominating.

Yeah that’s my view too, i think I wrote it in the blog somewhere lol...but plenty of people on Twitter seem to be adamant that Suzuki will make the team...seems weird to me

He's probably got a shot but he'll really need to shine at camp.

I would not have an issue with all of them going to Laval to start the season, at least for a while, to get some playing time in roles they should be playing, not part time or 4th line duty.

Yeah, well I'm still not sure if I'd prefer Poehling playing on the 4th line for the Habs or in Laval top 2 lines getting more minutes...

I guess we'll see how they all perform at camp.

There's always the possibility to move Domi back to wing to give Poehling top 9 minutes.

Really curious to see how KK will look next season as well.... Poehling might give him a run for his money.

Well, if he keeps playing with Armia and Lehkonen...let's just say it would be a little sad.

Despite some people (Obie) hating him, I don't see Julien separating the Tatar/Danault/Gallagher line to begin the season.

So if Domi remains at C, he'll likely play with a combinaision of Drouin and something else.

KK starting with Lehkonen and Armia is far from impossible.

I know, I'd just like different combinations since none of them seems to be able to finish KK's plays so far.
