Anthony Travalgia: Bruins need a rejuvenated Anders Bjork After having a second shoulder surgery last season, the Bruins hope for, and need a rejuvenated Anders Bjork.

seems to be a log jam of players that might almost be good enough for 2nd line winger

I would like to see what Lauko and Vaakanainen can do this coming training camp. Lauko had an impressive rookie camp last year and I thought he might make a splash like Pasta did in his first year.
Senyshyn could be a wild card if he has developed more to his game than just outside speed.
Also curious to see what Jack Studnicka will bring to camp this year as well.

Honestly, it is a lot more fun rooting for a home grown team than a team of overpaid free agents. Can't wait to get Studnicka in the lineup.

Which again makes the dozen poopty 4th line types Sweeney signed this summer even more baffling. We have so many guys pushing for spots.

Sweeney typically does pretty well with those cheap depth signings though so it is hard for me to complain. Riley Nash, Nordstrom, Wagner have all been pretty solid depth moves so i expect much of the same.

Lindholm is pretty versatile. Can kill penalties. Plays wing and Center so depth.
Ritchie is a cheap big body that can score a few goals.

Which would be fine if we didnt already have a 4th line of Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner and Backes already in place.

It’s true but I also see Kuraly with a bigger role next year, If he can add some offense to his game. Right now I try to move Coyle to the 2nd line and have Kuraly on the third. Put Backes on the 4th and leave him there. Let him get his identity with Wagner on the 4th.

Marchand Patrice Pasta
DeBrusk Krejci Coyle
Nordstrom Kuraly Heinen
Wagner Backes lindholm/Ritchie

That is how I start the year. Maybe hope a kid can insert in there as well. Studnicka or Lauko

If Studnicka makes it he will be 3C and if Lauko makes it I see them trying him on the top 2 lines. The kid is fast and hungry to learn like Pasta was.
