Max Domi is a better hockey player than Alex Galchenyuk. This is an objective fact.

Chicago fans....and people with brains in general....don’t take the bait!

These have been the funniest, most over-the-top, click-baity blogs I’ve ever seen. Well done, Tamsy

Strome and Domi have nothing to do with luck. They were mismanagement assets that were traded away for low returns. You can make the argument that they are better after the trade because neither of them were used properly, but that’s a terrible argument

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it is. It is related to the cognitive bias of illusory superiority and comes from the inability of people to recognize their lack of ability. Without the self-awareness of metacognition, people cannot objectively evaluate their competence or incompetence.

As described by social psychologists David Dunning and Justin Kruger, the cognitive bias of illusory superiority results from an internal illusion in people of low ability and from an external misperception in people of high ability; that is, "the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others."

Didn’t they miss the playoffs by 4 points? Didn’t they miss with only one of your crucial checkboxes actually happening? But you’re saying in order for them to beat that they need to repeat that checkbox (goaltending) but then also having a career year from Phil, a breakout year from Schmaltz, and bounce back seasons from I guess everyone else

Living life on these extremes sounds exhausting. The pacific division is weak. The Coyotes should be battling for 3rd/4th

The point is that there will almost certainly be a dropoff in the goaltending area. They've got a couple great goalies, so hopefully they're good - I'm just saying you can't count on elite goaltending to occur automatically.

And I think if they got everything you're complaining about, they'd be a lot better than just a borderline playoff team. But as is, they're probably about a coin flip to make it. They could have a really great team - but only if things go perfectly.

Tanner, in case those words were too big, here is a simple way to understand this psychological condition...ready...over 90% of Americans think they are above-average drivers. Let that sink in. You probably think you are an above-average hockey analyst and writer.

I read this blog and wondered after reading another one of your gibberish , unthoughtful , or uneducated knowledge . How hockeybuzz allows you to have a forum to spew incoherent garbage.

See if you want to insult someone, you've got to try to hit close to home by being somewhat truthful. As stupid as it is, that psychological crap is a good try because clearly I'm pretty full of myself.

But as much you might hate me, I've very thoughtful, highly educated and there is nothing incoherent about these blogs.

The standard of troll here is pretty high, but you can do better than this.

Can't hit close to your home though Tanner.....you've stated multiple times that you choose not to own one. Could he try to "hit close to apartment?"

"Great" goalies don't drop off Tanner, unless they are over the hill...Not the case in Ariz. Soooooo...the goalies playing for the Yotes are probably average-good, and just had seasons that they can' t recreate.

Highly educated. Most people who claim to be highly intellectual are actually pretty ignorant and vacuous, and most of all see themselves as elitists.

Your argument as well as your incoherent response shows , your elustrious education.
