Atlantic City. The casino scene is dead now, but the beach is decent. My cousins have a house close to Atlantic City. We go when we couldn't book anything else last minute

i'm not much of a beach person but from what i've heard atlantic city is dangerous now, wildwood is set up for young kids, and they don't sell alcohol in ocean city.

yet, every friday afternoon through saturday morning hundreds of thousands of people sit in bumper to bumper traffic with their kids' bikes strapped to the back of their ford expedition jamming up every major artery in the state trying to get down there.
