I would try and swap Stone for Nylander... I think that frees up the perfect amount of $$$$

Simple. Trade Gusev. Teams will overpay |
|
|
|
Gusev is worth a 2nd
If a team offer sheeted him at the 4 million he wants, Vegas would get a 2nd
Why he hasn't been offer sheeted yet, is beyond me |

Trade the guy. Recoup some lost assets in recent trades. |

Trading Reilly Smith should not even be a passing thought. Not many players do what he can, at such a high level. Big mistake. Unloading Reaves and Holden makes sense. Worst case is trading Eakin, which causes a problem at 3LC but would hurt less than losing Smith's excellence. |

Part of the reason I wrote this hypothetical was to see if anyone would come to Reilly's defense, which they absolutely should. I feel like he deserves a C and is way more important to the team than most give him credit for.
Kudos to you! |

First, you get rid of Reaves and Eakins.

Pffft..... We can do better. Plus Vegas doesn't want another RW. They need a LW
To Vegas: Hall 50% retained (3M) + Mcleod
To Jersey: Tuch + Reaves + Nicolas Hague + 2021 vegas 1st rd pick
I mean....
Hall Smith Stone
Patches Statsny Marchy
Gusev Karlsson Noesek
Carrier Eakin Zykov |

I'm interested to see how the Vegas fans react when they learn how the salary cap works with LTIR. |

If Hall isn't going to stick around in NJ, thats an incredible haul for the Devils. So much so I wouldn't make it if I was Vegas. Tuch is a stud on a cheap cost controlled contract and Hague and a 1st on top of it is a major overpay
Stone came here for less - RoloTahmasee
