They've needed a video analyst. Great hire
- SMBDragon

Maybe that's a hire that JB orchestrated by leaking to the public how small the staff and other departments are.

From what I've read/has been written about him, his play was starting to come together more and more last year in Utica. Pretty sure JB said he would have been called up last year if he didn't get injured.
- NewYorkNuck

If he is, that'd be great.

Biech joins Canucks as analytical nerd

I hope Benning isn’t giving into these negative twitter nerds and their captain hindsight hot takes

- Nucker101

Hired the wrong Nerd. Perhaps Harmon is holding out for the GM position.

This explain a lot about how you feel about the team.

At least Biech knows about hockey. Harmon doesn't know anything except numbers everyone else has created.

I've found his decision making has been off over the past little while. Does good work but I don't think i'd be taking advice from him.

i think he was stretching himself a little thin with a lot of projects... tends to affect thinigs

Yeah. Did start a new site and all. One person can only do so much scouting. Guys that try for a top 400 prospect list. Not a chance you got a good view and data of 400 prospects.

Best for Biech to crunch the numbers and show his findings to more qualified hockey people in the organization.

I was getting tired of our numerical system. Looking forward to what Biech comes up with.

I think Tanev out and Tryamkin in in Feb. I don't think MacEwen is ready but they did get Bailey . Lind absolutely not ready.

Yeah going with there are depth options toward the end of the season if need be to step in. Ones that follow the new identity.

The Canucks have real NHL talent throughout the roster and depth in prospects at forward and defense that can be worked in the next couple years.

Julius Honka available, another reclamation project but i did always like the player as a prospect.

He's a decent defensive dman to play on the bottom pairing, if he's a cheap pickup then sure.

Stars don't have cap space but maybe they can fit Goldy if they want to swap reclamation projects. Wouldn't want to give up a draft pick.

This would be a solid move... Goldie isn't going to be an NHL player. Might as well add another d man. Lord knows we go through alot of them in a season

As long as it’s not draft picks going the other way, I’ve never had an issue with dumpster diving. Especially since it seems like the Canucks struggle to draft and develop dmen.

They know how to take the defencemen, they just don't know how to develop the defencemen. And that's really the most important part.

Is he not doing them in blog format anymore?

I can't stand being forced to listen to podcast and watch videos now.

Is Hughes in trouble? What do you think is needed? Such as OJ and Woo's development?
