Sure. Why not. Though, wouldn't surprise me if Forsling turns into a solid D-man for them. We saw some excellent play from him and some not so good. If he can find and keep his confidence, he will be a useful player for the Canes.

Rutherford was apparently willing to trade Kessel for Jason Zucker but Kessel refused to go to the Wild.

Doubt he would turn down a chance to play for the Hawks. Wonder what Stanbo would be willing to give up for him?

I don't know, but $6,800,000 a year and is UFA 2022-23 season is not bad, especially considering what some of these forwards are going to get on the open market this offseason.
