Rumor is he’s high on Hyden.

Outside of Hughes we havent drafted a guy who ppl will walk away from this draft and say wow but we could of had about 3 by now where you are going ok the Devils are having a great draft and maybe we are since we have added Hughes and Subban but we have disappointed me a bit as what could of been with a few of those picks.

I also am not in the believe that we have a loaded enough pool to be passing up on drafting so early.

The guys we have selected high like Zacha Mcleod Bastian have all to date shown to have been safer picks that arent likely to develope into stars outside of maybe Zacha ( I didnt include Smith because he was a great pick and am not worried about him ) I am just saying we potentially could of walked away with 2 new boqvist caliber players in the second and we end up with almost a early 3rd and a safe pick as a 7th dman.

We hit the lotto and got Hughes. We’ve added a top pair Dman without giving up anyone on our NHL roster or a 1st round pick, and some of the comments in here make it seem like we just traded Hall for Shattenkirk, lol. I thought I was the pessimist around these parts.

Im really not sure how a single one of you took anything I said to be negative ? Lol i stated what I hoped would happened and it didnt. I didnt complain about the P.K trade at all or the Hughes pick so the two guys you just mentioned as somone somehow not being happy about hell I even stated I still thought we are having a really great draft.
