Wonder what that means for Bob. Knight is several years away, but that'll prevent a very long contract for Bob. |

There goes York: really good pick by Philly. He's the type of D who can do everything. I really liked him at the U18s. |

Was only a matter of time. Krebs going to be another Barzal?
I also wonder how long it takes for Newhook to get taken.
Edit: lol bye Newhook. I really liked him at the U18. |

Tracey would have been a good pick early in the 2nd. He was noticeable at U18s...
Lavoie, Kaliyev, and Brink still available. |

Had a blast at the draft party at Prudential but very excited there is real 1st round talent available for our second pick. Taking Hughes is easy. The rest of the draft is where you can excel or fail.
BTW every Devil fan at wanted Jack. They were booing Kakko on the Jumbotron before the draft. (frank)ing Rangers can have our sloppy seconds. |

I know no one cares, but gee wiz..
The NHL draft managed 40 seconds of coverage on Sports Center. 40 seconds. Top 2 picks go to NY area rivals NJ and NY. It's only the biggest city in America. It's only the top 2 picks. and it's only hockey. 40 seconds. They couldn't even go through it without mentioning Zion. "He's the Zion of hockey". give me a break. |

Lavoie is the one I want now, although would be very happy with Kaliyev too. |

Im hoping for a big mobile D man like Vlasic or a pure goal scorer after that olayers that are beasts as we need to address how hard we are to play against. |

Maybe these guys were considered cocky and took too many short cuts.
Either way, even if Ray has the option, he's one of those guys that looks for character: I don't know that he's known to take droppers. They've been doing relatively well past the first round, so I won't doubt whom he chooses. |

In a world of change, glad to see one thing still reminds the same. Lou lamerillio over reaches for an over hyped swedish forward. THANK GOD!! he isn't the GM of the devils anymore, no way in hell he takes hughes!!! |

I'd be happy with Vlasic as well, although with college kids you never know if they will sign their ELC when it's time which is a concern. |
