I'm not sure trading Kadri is a Ujiri type move, at least not a big time move. He was arguably the best 2nd line centre in the league and the best dollar for dollar cap hit outside an entry level player also. Then he got his ice time nixed, his role changed, and he was essentially demoted.

It seems unproductive to me to trade Kadri when you have to replace him with another guy just like him, and I do not see that in the Leaf system. He is affordable and has some traits that grate on opposition players. Just a guy you want on your team.

I think dumbas game has actually come a very long way. He certainly doesn't suck. And I don't see him regressing like dion did either....unless he marries elisha 2.0.

Can’t go into next season without a 4RHD.

This year was hard to enjoy, we knew they would kill in the regular season. Next year will suck more unless they go deep in the playoffs. I don’t care if they put up points like TB, I won’t be happy until they win a round.

With Tavares on board, Kadri's role was dimisshed somewhat. More of a checking center.

Making it tough to sign our young guys, and build the D up. We had 2 good C's before JT.
