Marty Lapointe?

Thought about that but it was pre cap so not quite as critical.
People were going nuts back then too. Remember Dallas giving Guerin 9 mil a year and thinking this is trouble

Milan Lucic days as a @EdmontonOilers are over. With Lucic waving his no move clause it opens up the trade to @NHLFlames. At this point sounding like a 1 for 1 trade for James Neal.
@NHL

from kypreos...interesting

Horrible deal. Oilers retained 12.5% of Lucic’s salary. $750K a year. Neil makes $5.75 per, same term left on his contract. So basically the Oilers took on an additional $500K per season to ‘get rid of’ the better player in Lucic. Not exactly a genius move. Hope the Bruins don’t follow suit and do something equally as idiotic with Backes.

I think Neal , even though he is a compete POS , has a better chance to put up better stats than Looch but will see. Looch has been pretty bad from the time he left Boston...will see I guess

Yeah I think Neal has a better chance of a rejuvenation based on talent. Looch is completely goosed as far as I can see, just terrible. Donnie cut him loose at exactly the right time for a good return. Fkn hate Neal tho, what a durtbag

Blues hire Savvy as an assistant coach. Interesting. Always hoped the Bruins would bring him back in some capacity.

same man

not disappointed, (frank)ing annoyed. Losing 3 of 4 on home ice is unacceptable. Z plays with a wired shut jaw and some of these guys looked like 1 o' clock half struck in game seven. Marchand has a lot to atone for after the 2nd goal debacle imo. That was the season. Seven (frank)ing seconds left, finish the shift you moron.

Such a wasted opportunity.

Tons of credit to the Blues however, they have a nice roster, especially on the back end and O'Reilly is a beauty.

Can't get out of my mind the first period which they dominated and somehow are behind 2-0...

Look on the bright side, The new rinkside reporter they hired is pretty hot. So we’ve got that, which is nice.

I like how they rotate the talent in and out ... I’m sure the questions will still suck but at least there’s new ass to look at.

Patrice Bergeron said he still has some lingering health issues from last season. He received a PRP shot this summer and has slowly been ramping back up his on-ice work. Hopes to be ready for the start of the season.

Had to google PRP...it's a platelet rich plasma shot that accelerates the healing process of ailments...not great start to the season
