LeSean McCoy said he expects to be in the "same role as last year."
"I mean, I'm a dominant player," McCoy said. "I think that speaks for itself. But I'll be in the same role as last year. And I look forward to putting some numbers up and bouncing back from that last season." Now 31 and entering the final year of his contract, rumors of McCoy's release have inevitably swirled following Buffalo's offseason additions of veteran Frank Gore, third-down back T.J. Yeldon, and third-rounder Devin Singletary. McCoy may expect to be in the same role, but there's still a 50/50 shot he makes it out of camp with the Bills. Parting with him would only cost the team $2.625 million in dead cap space.

Can't imagine why Colorado, then Buffalo would not want such a Team Player

RoR is a good NHL Centerman who plays for the St. Louis Blues. I didn't make the trade or ask for it. I don't like the return but I'd rather have a player that wants to Win in a Sabres uniform than one that finds the challenge too much for him. He went to a team that has been building for 52 yrs to get to this spot. He's getting way too much credit. They would have already won the cup if Mr. Clutch was helping the Abysmal Penalty Kill unit.

In the local radio the other day they interviewed local boy Brandon Prust. They asked him who would win and he said he wanted the Blues to win because of ROR.

He said he was the smartest and most hardworking player he knew and talked about how good he was and how thought he put into practice.

The other day I saw an NHL video showing all of the insane workouts ROR does, like doing yoga on balance beams and doing math while doing workouts. Even kneels on an exercise ball and rolls around on it like a scooter and goes through obstacles. Next level conditioning.

My question- if he does all of this stuff, why isn’t he better?

He is literally one of the best DEFENSIVE FORWARDS in the NHL today. To put up close to a .ppg as a two-way center in today's NHL and get nominated for the Selke is extremely good. There is literally nothing to hate about his game. Like any player, he can get cold and go through stretches and he often starts off strong to a season and finishes slow but he locks down defensively as the season progresses, and that's called being RESPONSIBLE.

Good god, we ran the guy out of town. And he is playing in a game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals not even a year later.

This organization is toxic and a complete mess. If this season isn't playoffs, then it's going to completely implode. Especially if ROR wins the cup.

😂 How did WE run the guy out of town?

He was a HUGE PART of a last place team, and HE forced his way outta here like he did in Colorado, after this organization made him a very wealthy (frank)ing man.

His play aside, it was his mouth after each loss that fans couldn't stand.

At least.

I'll give him his due, though. He's a damn good hockey player. I just couldn't stand his whiny, cliché-ridden post-games.

Bruins are run down and beat up. Too many injuries. After that game I’m sure a ton of injuries are coming out

Marchand has a broken wrist
Chara jaw
Bergeron knee

I’m sure others are coming too

Well, sure, he's been "nominated" every year but his rookie year, but his best finish was 6th in 13-14. He finished 33rd, 11th, and 11th for the Sabres. That is not a finalist. He was a Byng finalist last year, finishing 2nd.

Jaden Schwartz scored them out of round 1. Tarasenko’s 8 game point streak got them through rounds 2 and 3. Stellar goaltending. ROR had 1 goal in 16 games, and assists don’t matter to this board so how good really was he until Game 3 of the cup final ? They wouldn’t be here right now if it weren’t for Tarasenko.

I liked ROR when he was here too, but it's over.

ROR winning the cup has no bearing on the future of this franchise other than one draft spot.

I wish you would step back from the ledge, my friend

I approve this message.

I'll be so glad when we talk about him like we talk about, say, Dale McCourt.

(why does no one talk about Dale McCourt? 😂)

The Blues winning the cup after getting outplayed in 3/4 playoff series definitely means that the sports gods just want to see Buffalo burn to the ground.

Blues should be down 4-0 right now and lead 1-0 Lol.

Oh my god the lot of you are really insufferable.

I can admit when I'm down.

I was in the St. Louis thread earlier in the year suggesting they re-tool their roster and re-think their direction.

They fired their coach and went on a run and should they win tonight, I will go in their thread and congratulate them, honorary title, one:

If Binnington isn't the Conn Smythe winner, even if Boston comes back and wins, the voters have an IQ below 40.
