O'Reilly is a piece St. Louis chose to build with. Buffalo and Colorado tried to build around him. It failed miserably in both places.

Are Eichel and Skinner not the same? They were the leaders of a team that had one of the worst stretches in NHL history.

Skinner now has a bad contract.

Should we look to move them because we probably aren’t winning with them here either.

All I am going to say is that I am so f'n proud of Ryan O'Reilly. Dude has scrapped and clawed on 2 terrible teams for years. He had a hard time losing but when he finally got the chance at success on a well built team... he thrived in the moment. ROR is my favorite player in the NHL today and I am happy I got a chance to see him wear the Sabres sweater but even more happy that he got to win a cup.
