Nah. These drafts are getting better & better. Development programs are at their peak & improving/optimizing. Keep picks & acquire more if possible. Unless you have the worst scouting department imaginable, nobody should be trading multiple pieces of draft capital for a guy like that.

I liked this blog Carol, I noticed the comparison between Cassidy and Green and how everyone here is ambivalent to the one thing this team really lacks, solid coaching.

It seems like Lucic, Eriksson and unknown 10th overall are the burning topics but everyone couldn’t give 2 sh!ts about a ineffective coach with a 470 win percentage over 2 seasons....but hey how about Eriksson not wanting to waive.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. No coach was taking a lineup this bad to the playoffs these last two years. The focus was on development and a lot of kids have thrived under Green IMO. This year will be the first in a long time where I think there's a chance we get a wildcard, but I think we are more of the outside looking in.

Well I’ve also said it before and I’ll say it again, this team is not presently structured to be a playoff contender, but I wholeheartedly disagree that any of the “kids” have thrived under Green, I would say that they are worse. They came out strong as usual and then sh!t the bed. How can anyone praise a coach that doesn’t have a team prepared to play a game. He is a crap coach, no better than Desjardins.
