Why in God's name would we trade Klefbom for the "honour" of taking on a contract worse than Russell's and Kapanen?

If he has a way for Toronto to pay the cost of getting rid of Lucic's entire cap hit, then maybe I could stomach it. He doesn't show well in my method of evaluation and it's not like he's been placing the toughest minutes or anything. I can't see much evidence in results that he'd be an upgrade on Russell and that leaves only the chance that he meshes with Nurse or Klefbom stylistically in a way that breeds results that couldn't otherwise be predicted (not something I can comment on).
