On that note, one reason I don't want to let Eberle go is that you have no idea if you'll even be able to find a replacement, let alone who that might be. You let him go to free agency and you're pretty much crossing your fingers hoping you'll be able to find a replacement after that. With the scenario I mentioned for Bailey, he'd only be traded if and when they traded for/signed someone else, and even then, only if they needed to free up cap space to make it all work.
