Well the ducks have never been keen on buying out players. Plus it's not Perry that's asking for the trade. And lastly this whole thing is way to public. I mean some would say where there smoke there's fire. But usually there's never any rumors coming out of anahiem. So it's a little out of character for Bob Murry to let something like this slip. Which makes this whole thing kinda fishy. So the general feeling is "we'll see" .

Because this is so public I believe it's true. I would be stunned if Perry is with the Ducks to start the season. Heck, even Getzlaf has commented on the rumor.
