IMO Tyler Myers is under-rated. He's top four on most teams.
But, yes, he is almost 30. However many d-men peak at around that age. But
no stats to back that up.
Still, hope he remains a Jet!

The fact that Philadelphia willingly retained salary to trade away the better, younger, and cheaper player makes me think we can get a lot more than Ghostbear and the 11th pick...

no. Can't fix quality with quantity. Any deal for Trouba really needs a solid NHL player and a top prospect. (or an excellent NHLer with a fair prospect). mid-range all around doesn't cut it.
