It's not a "body" check if it's a hit to the head...

I don't think it was overly malicious and would have been happy with a basic 2 min penalty. I am not sure it's gonna be suspension worthy... but its still a hit to the head.

It looked like to me he got the chest first, hard to tell at the full speed replay.

The video at 1:28 on the first angle sure makes it look like he caught him below the head with initial contact

The problem with that hit is there's a 6 inch difference in height and krug was reaching for the puck, there's really no place to go with a check there.

Barbarshev getting suspended and Marchand not is a travesty. One of these players has a clean history. The other has already been suspended for these exact actions.

How was the Krug hit in game 1 not reviewed then? It was malicious, not a head hit but it was an over the top charge. From one end of the ice to other looking for some revenge.

Really funny that Barby gets a suspension, but KLUG "THE THUG" gets ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, NADA, for his 100 yard charge on Robert Thomas who by the way was concussed and cannot return for the rest of the playoffs and he gets NOTHING!! Funny how the whole league is afraid of Jeremy Jacobs the Bruins owner!!! That is why it's called "THE NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE", Little tiny Winnie Gary Bettman is always looking over his shoulder (even with more secret servicemen than the President of the United States) guarding him. Just a terrible call by the NHL DoPS. My intention isn't to agitate Boston fans. Boston is my second favorite team behind the Blues. However, Jeremy Jacobs is the Robert Kraft of the NHL. Between Jacob's, Neely, and female dog Cassidy's whining, and Bozak's trip/ Accari's embellishment, the league capitulated. Boston's sinful plays have gone unnoticed. I mean, you have David Backes calling out players for tough hits. What's next. The league has shown they don't want St. Louis to win the Cup with their kangaroo court justice.
