The contract of Zaitzev is scary, but he is a more productive hutton at this point. And he did actaully look quite steady in that Boston series and the cup as Carol mentioned. I wonder if Toronto would take Hutton+ back.... i also could see Aqualini wanting Karlsson, instantly puts a lot of asses in seats and makes us an even more convincing wildcard team.

I mean there's obviously no official word but it's very likely, yes. Toews is younger, cheaper, and at the absolute worst...equal talent. I don't really see Vancouver as a great fit for him, but he's a good 2nd pairing guy on a very reasonable deal.

Interesting words on SN650 this morning . They think Canucks/Edler are far apart and a chance he may land in Tampa.
