Damn, wonder if we can still manage to get Zucker.
As much as I would like to see what a rested Neal could bring if you can get rid of that cotract you do it all day every day.
Todd, I know you are all about speed and possession but is there anyone out there that could bring some size to the top 6? |

We'd have to sweeten the pot for a Rask and Neal swap? Surely, not by a lot. Rask has been awful for quite some time now. Neal had one bad year ever. Their contacts aren't drastically different considering the drop in skill. |

Still think Neal gets another year to redeem himself. Having said that if you can find a way to move his contract and get something decent back you do it, I just don't think it's high on the priority list right now.
I definitely think Calgary's going to circle back around on Zucker, if they haven't already. Word at the deadline was that the deal was done but the paperwork didn't get processed in time. I'd be surprised if the Flames didn't re-open the discussion after that. I'm not sure Minnesota has the sane mindset or not now, but for the Flames I don't see why they wouldn't still have interest. |
