Tyler Cameron: The Blackhawks Draft Trevor Zegras if…
Down the list, we go as we evaluate the potentials at #3 for the Blackhawks. Today, we're looking at Trevor Zegras.
I'm going to leave this one to the experts, as I don't as much insight into Zegras than other prospects which I've followed a lot closer.
I do know that Craig Button of TSN is a fan; he had rave reviews on the Hawks Talk podcast when Pat Boyle interviewed him. |

Pettersson, that's a high compliment. I'm honestly just here for the ride. I've liked every potential draft pick that we've discussed & will be happy with the choice, whomever it is. |

Not first.
There is certainly an embarrassment of riches in this year's draft. Here's hoping the 'Hawks get the guy that fulfills/develops into a top tier NHLer in his time. |

I don’t know much about prospects, but I get the sense that Zegras is very much like Barzal also. Good call on that.
I’m hoping the Rangers find a way to trade up with pick 20, and grab Zegras! |

The Rangers... aren't those the guys with 74 draft picks this year? |

Cozens... - hawk35
Blues vs Bruins final.... Two very "heavy" teams"...and most years it is. Like Caps last year.
It's one thing to MAKE the playoffs, but to succeed you need grit, size and physical players. A couple of skill small guys like kane and DeBrincat is fine....
But......
In a year or two be sweet to have Entwhistle in top 9, maybe even Top 6. And Cozens definately in Top 6.
Those guys with size, and can play a Power Forward game are crucial.
Can't pass on Cozens!!! |

I know what you mean, in 2015 there was no way the small non physical Hawk team could win against a hitting game that no human could withstand.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's size of the fight in the dog. Yes big players are a nice to have but give me players that can play through the rough stuff and their size is irrelevant. |

Didn't the Pens just win 2 cups? As a non-rough hitting team like the Hawks?
This Blues team doesn't exactly run around hitting people either. They are tough on the puck, their forwards take away space, and they have some legit talent.
I also did not realize Steen was 35 already!!!
Edit: Not to be misconstrued. The Blues still do hit people but they play a much cleaner game then the old Backes lead Blues. They have been much more physical in the playoffs.
The Hawks used to do the same thing. |

I like Cozens too, but you keep bringing up him being from the Yukon as a character thing. It does suck living there but his dad is a judge and his mother a lawyer I believe. So it's not like the Jordan Tootoo story where he came from nothing. |

You must be mistaken, unless a player is big they back down, it's a fact! All big guys are physical, also a fact! |
