Couldn't agree more!
I value him way more than Jankowski, Mangiapane, Czarnik or Kylington and after a hard summer in the gym I fully expect him to be a Flame next year.

It's kind of pointless to analyze AHL stats since they rarely indicate NHL success. The AHL is a much sloppier league and the goalies aren't great. The Flames have a bunch of players on their current roster that put up fantastic numbers in the AHL and have so far just been pretty meh NHLers. The AHL is filled with chumps, and there are no chumps in the NHL.

And considering he's pretty much the only prospect the Flames currently have that's pretty much guaranteed to be an NHLer, no one is forgetting about him.

Maybe find something actually insightful to write about. Have you noticed how people would rather complain about what I post than actually engage with the blog?

What's next? A blog about how Giordano had a pretty good year?

His first post makes a good point though. Success in the AHL doesn't mean all that much. Dube has to prove he can make the jump which I'm hopeful he does. I'd love to see him come in and be the 3rd line centre. As much as Calgary can use Janko's size, he doesn't really use it...I'd rather have a smaller guy with skill who plays harder.

I was agreeing with you!

With the amount of money we invest into this site we should be getting nothing less then Pulitzer Prize reporting!

Its just as absurd as when I don't vote and then people have the nerve to tell me that I should not complain about the government!

You and I are the smartest here. Other people just can't see our brilliance!

The AHL is a development league. Obviously success there does not mean success in the NHL.

Name me one player that played well in the AHL and then managed to make the jump to the NHL.

Go ahead, I got all day.
