I have a hard time coming to terms with this grade. Shall we do a highlight reel of 2018-2019 turnovers and pucks that go in off him? He can't keep up witih the team, can't play the type of D they need. Is 3rd string at best in this stage of hs career.

Zaitsev was solid in the playoffs, but I thought he was terrible all season.

Well I would give Hainsey the B but really that is because the guy DID bust his ass playing a role he never should have. Think everyone across the board agrees he is a bottom pair guy but thrust into that position he did what he could and played his ass off for us. Not gonna say he was great, because he wasn't but...

Z gets crap because of the contract sure, but that sophmore season with the concussion, and the start of focusing on defence not offence really has hurt him. I don't know if he will ever be better than what he is. Muzzin seems to help elevate him a bit but for that money yeah I tend to side with the we need an upgrade on him crowd too. I think his rating is more arguable as being too high and should be lowered some.
