I usually am against teams winning their first championship because I am a salty dog. However I do feel the sharks and especially the blues fanbases have paid their dues. It is time especially for the blues

What exactly do fans have to do with anything? They don't win championships and they're certainly not entitled to them "just because". That's so 2019.

Can nbc stop talking about Karlsson so much??? It's really annoying. Last time I checked a defenseman is supposed to play defense. I don't understand how they talk about him so much when they are blowing him. Guess he's not packing much

There are so many parallels between the Flyers franchise and the Blues franchise. Came into the league the same year, built their clubs with similar toughness over the years... It's time for the Flyers and the Blues to have something else in common...

So Haley goes after Petro. These useless announcers can’t even connect Petro’s hit on Pavelski to why Haley’s got the red ass and wants to beat him to a pulp...

This NBC crew is just poor. Milbury poor. Pierre poor. And it goes further.

Milbury wants the Blues to give up the puck to get a 5 on 3. No you idiot they want to waste more time and extend how long the Sharks will be short-handed in order to ensure winning the game. Know the score and circumstance. At that point in the 3rd with that big of the lead, you don't need another goal you need to ensure goal prevention. It wasn't a 2 goal lead.

Instead of contextual analysis, they have a set of cliched tropes they keep running out. Anyone playing the drinking game with them? “Blues were in last place on January 31st...” DRINK!

This series seems exponentially dirtier than the 1st two rounds. Is it just me?

Blais high hits. Barbie with the drive by on Hertl. Dillon with the head shot on Sundqvist while down. Dillon with the high hit on Petro, leading with his arm/elbow. Kane with the kidney shot to Binnington. Just to name a few.

I think the sharks were just frustrated today and decided to hit everyone. Blais is just playing like a wrecking ball, didnt get a great look at barbies but from what I did it looked like he went for the chest and missed.

If that Barbashev hit was delivered by Tom Wilson does anyone think the coverage would be so light? No call?

With NHL refs, who knows. It deserved a penalty. Of course, San Jose took a few headshots that deserved penalties as well. But reading comments from SJ fans around the web, it seems they've gotten so used to officiating favoring them that they have know idea what an evenly officiated game looks like anymore.

Worth noting, Hertl stayed in the game, was fine after that check; it wasn't until he took a puck up high that he left the game.

I really don't think that hit was intentional. Hertl had his head down. Barbashev could have hit him a lot harder looked like he tried to get out the way last second.

I agree, but all that can be true and it still be a penalty. Sharks deserved a 2 minute PP there, and didn't get it. Same thing happened the other way though, so all their whining after the game was ridiculous, even before considering the game 3 fiasco in their favor.

The Sharks bench looked like a beer league bench in the 2nd half of the 3rd period.

I am wondering if a few guys who normally would have been playing decided they were done for the night to start nursing their bruises/injuries/etc as that game was already over.

If not, they are going to really struggle with a depleted lineup tomorrow. Blues need to finish them!

I think so, they're getting pretty beat up over there. Had the game gone much longer they would have had to forfeit - out of players.

All of the hitting that started in Game 1 is really paying off. The Blues have been the best team in every game of this series after Game 1.

That being said - Blues need to finish them tomorrow. A wounded animal is desperate and has nothing to lose - makes them dangerous. Blues cannot let up one bit tomorrow.

I was really surprised after the fifth goal relatively early in the third why DeBoer didn't give Martin Jones the rest of the day off.

It wouldn't surprise me to see two maybe three new faces in the Sharks lineup just to give them some fresh bodies and fresh energy.

Barby isn't a dirty player, neither is Petro. Linesmen did more damage to Pavs than he did ha.

Get this sh!t done.

Would be great to see the Blues parade the cup around on Boston ice.

If you make it hopefully the Blues get a fair shake vs Gary's refs.

Will be a big hurdle but the Blues can do it.

Good luck.
