So summer 2013 after Krueger’s season they Lowe decides its time to fire Steve Tambelini for his inactivity and the team’s lack of progress between 2010-13. Former Oilers coach MacT is hired without any interviews of course. Ralph approaches MacT and asks him to add an associate coach as he only had 2 assistants. Dallas Eakins applies for the associate coach job and blows MacT away to the extent he Skypes Ralph whom was at his home in Switzerland and fires him giving Eakins the head coaching job he wasn’t even applying for.

Botterill mentioned Eichel, Reinhart, Dahlin, Mitts, Brycen Martin, Will Borgen, Jeff Skinner and someone else, but never mentioned Risto. He also said he would do a trade even if a couple d men are hurt if it means it would help in the second half of the year. Risto is g-o-n-e imo.
