Vanek on the Instigators: "Believe it or not, Lindy is at the top of the list of my favorite coaches. As much as he was hard on me or whatever, he brought the best out in me and i respected that." (peters and rivet laugh heartily)

Did he really?

He really did.

I was misreading what the NHL stats site counts as specific types of shots.

but yes. I was looking at "Shots By Type" and apparently what the NHL considers a Deflection vs. a Tip In is very different than what I believed it to be.

McCabe, Hickey, and a 4th for AA and Turgeon

Who says no.

I have no idea if this is equal but I just like to trade McCabe and getting Turgeon in Buffalo just makes sense to me. lol

If there's anything I know about 59 year old's, it's that they're only good for talking in circles and poopting themselves.

Kruger must be in at least stage 5 of Alzheimer's because no one wants to coach this team. I've learned that people like money, just not Buffalo-money.

No one wants to live in this city with it's stinky undertones, bad acne, mud-huts(that's racist, dammit), poopty food, awful people with wretched farts, and bingo nights.

How do we even field a team every year? Boggles the mind. They must be truly desperate.

He had just got promoted too.

On one hand, it was embarrassing that the "VP of Hockey Management and Strategy" was sending me a message to correct me.

On the other hand, I had actually got his attention, so that was neat.

This is trash.

This might be true... lol.

I do like McCabe though. He is a very young 2nd pairing solid guy who has already played ~3 seasons in the NHL and is still an RFA.

We just need forward help.

Krueger said on The Instigators that he went undercover in Buffalo a few weeks ago and watched some playoff games at a bar downtown. He picked the brains of fans on hockey, the Sabres, and their thoughts on where the team is at. Pretty cool.

This..... This... is actually a pretty cool thing to hear. I've read that this guy is a motivator and people problem solver extradonaire. I've heard his communication skills are top notch as well in getting people to understand a goal. I have high hopes that this turns out really well.

Knee injury. Botts said on the radio this morning that he is aware of it and that it is a precaution to hold him out and the injury is not serious or threatening to next season at all.

That's hilarious.. and awesome.

Seeing how invested in hockey our city and fanbase is must've been pretty inspiring for him.

I've never heard of a coach or potential one doing something like that.
