it bothers me that RNH is not a big time offensive center and he is also a lifetime 44% faceoff man, combine that with 2 years left until he's a UFA, he's just not my cup of tea
- jimbro83

All fair points and things I did not know because I never really cared to dig deep into RNH. He just never really got on my radar as a desirable player to bring in. Draisaitl on the other hand.

Eeeek. I took Monte Ball at 6 once. Still scarred by that. Then traded jimmy my best players after that i think haha

I don't even remember who Monte Ball is

If he put 10% of his FF knowledge to revolutionizing the United States mail system...he would be a multi millionaire

True but when your top 2 picks are complete and under busts who give you 0 points a week, its hard to come back

The year Tom Brady was suspended, I used Dez as my franchise pick. Let's just say I didn't do good that year.

He's worth every penny of it, but that contract too. You get Drastil, you probably aren't getting Panarin without some serious cap maneuvers.

what's great about TJ, and he does this every year, he spends hours and hours prepping for it, gets all his sleepers, leaves the draft getting every player he wants, and after week 1 he ends up trading everybody

Oh dude you have no idea the ideas me and my other carrier co-workers come up with to save the PO money...but they’re just flat out dumb and wouldn’t consider our ideas. It’s a shame. So we just make the money and don’t worry about it

This is why I love doing auction drafts. Gives me a chance to build a team around the players I want. I hate doing snake drafts now

Every league needs a TJ though, I've been in leagues where no one trades, those you might as well be playing the computer.

My friend is worse, not only will he trade the guys he drafts, he will trade the guys he traded for. Sometimes he gets players for a 2nd and 3rd time in a season.

I tried auction. Couldn’t get the strategy down. I’d love to get good at it tho

Dailys is where I cleaned house last year

Maybe I’ll post some “expert” lineups next season

Daily is maddening. I've had up and down success with it in hockey, but you'll lose to a team with complete scrubs because of some supreme fluky stuff. At least in season long, the number of fluke games is averaged out over a whole season.
