I’m probably the only one who feels this way but I kind of feel like the Bruins have had an easy path. The canes look like they don’t belong and have to be the biggest fluke in the league right now. It’s hard to blame your goaltender when these losers can’t even connect a pass on the man advantage. Even the coaching decisions seem off. Doug Hamilton seem to have lacked creativity last night and Brind’Amour has Justin Faulk as an option too but he wouldn’t go to him.

No team has an easy path.

If that were the case, Tampa should still be playing.

Definitely true. Just because they might sweep the Hurricanes doesn't mean they've had an easy path. They played three good teams.

Brind’Amour is a rookie coach. The Canes defense is really young and inexperienced and it is showing against a skilled, experienced Bruins team. To be honest the biggest factor that is keeping the Canes from getting into the series is Rask. The first period last night could have been a slaughter without his spectacular play.

Agreed 100%, Rask is shutting up all the haters this year, he looks like he is getting hot at the right time. Add that to a veteran, experienced, skilled group in front of him, The B's are looking scary right now.

I’m still pulling for St.Louis but I think the Sharks are the team that has the best chance of competing with the Bruins.

Of the teams left, I hop the Bruins win it. I have respect for the way they play and have always liked them as a team.

They have a very deep group of players. There’s guys on their ahl squad that could easily play and contribute a lot to our lineup like a cehlarik or Anders Bjork. Their forwards you can tell are trained to hold the puck and cycle with conviction, powering in and out when they change direction. It’s definitely something that is harped on and it wears down the other teams defense. It’s plain hard work

The Canes defense is not young and inexperienced. Hamilton,Faulk, and DeHaan all have 7years in the league. Pesce and Slavin and TVR (out) all have 4 years.

As a Flyers fan I never liked the rival Bruins. But I have to admit I have followed them through the playoffs and really like the way they play. They have to be my pick for the cup. Hoping the Flyers can get the same mix of hard nose and skilled players some day.

7 game series against toronto. Then played CBJ, who swept the best team in the league out the series before. Super easy path.

Toronto is a very poor defensive team. They’re not good at all on defense. They have the scorers and basically the Leafs have to play a shootout style of game no matter who they play with.

Columbus didn’t really mesh with their Acquisitions until the playoffs.

There were major flaws to both the Leafs and Jackets.

The series against the Leafs still went 7 games. How could you possibly say they had an easy path? Ridiculous comment.

In its entirety? No. I didn’t have to watch every game to know it wasn’t easy for them. It went to game 7. Not even debatable.

I watch the series in its entirety.

In game six, the Bruins down in the series by one game walked into Toronto and stole their lunch. They doubled them up in shots. It was like boxing with an infant. Once the defense was warn down, Toronto had no chance in game 7. None. 5-1 victory, Toronto didn’t even show up.

Boston started the series slow.

How are you even trying to defend saying Boston had an easy series? One series went to 7, another series went to 6 with multiple overtime games! I'd looooooove to hear this one.

I was talking about playoff experience. Chara probably has more playoff games played than the whole Canes defense.

Edit: Faulk, Pesce, Slavin and Fleury’s first postseason.

So because they won those two games, you ignore the games they lost, then attribute them to Boston starting slow. Got it.

I would love to have a Rat on the Flyers squad, but he would have been always suspended
He is a hard nosed, cocky, hard to play against, skilled player that rattles a lot of opponents

Well if that’s what you were talking about, you may as well just say the whole team is “ young and inexperienced “ since the team hasn’t been in the playoffs since 2009.

Sorry for misunderstanding English.
