It’s beyond ridiculous that they’re still attempting to go ahead with their plan. It doesn’t make any sense

NHL had been back for 11 days and had 11 players test positive in those 11 days (all players had reported to training facilities for on ice activities)

It's super simple, the season should be over and the players should be at their homes with their families.

Just wait until a player infects a family member like wife, child, or parent and they end up in hospital on a respirator. From what I’ve read there’s a lot of guilt associated with infecting love ones. That guilt will manifest into anger and then litigation. There is a real possibility this turns into a poop show if the NHL continues to pressure plays to participate in some half assed playoff tournament just to protect team salary caps and player escrow.

though the odds are low, with the number of professional athletes out there, how long until one contracts and has to deal with long term repercussions?

while healthy young people generally survive the virus, some suffer from long term lung issues to the point where they are at reduced capacity from 10-30%. for regular people, they could adjust their daily lives to cope with that impairment.

i would think any real long term diminishment in lung capacity effectively ends a professional athlete's career.

LIke KB3 said last week, half the players he spoke with don't want to resume play, they'd rather start fresh for next season. I don't think the motivation is there.

I’m not one for conspiracies but this one is (frank)ed up...

https://www.macleans.ca/n...-an-undercover-operation/

If that guy ends up being a RCMP operative then this is going to essentially end what little credibility they have left. Crazy times.

I read that a couple of days ago. It almost sounds like a movie script.

Cherries ready in Oliver, not here yet.

Mine aren't even close. I figure i'm 3 weeks behind maybe. I'm not sure, never have had my own tree and it's young. Thanks though, I'm trying to figure it out as I go.

I just started picking strawberries a week ago. Blueberries are sizing up, peaches are tiny.

I'm trying to grow all of my own stuff. I used to work with/for Berrymobile Fruit Distribution over the years. It really helped expand my passion for fresh fruit and the local market here is underdeveloped.

I read that yesterday as well.

I suspect he was a CI, or at least pretended to be.

We're dealing with a pretty (frank)ed up mind, who knows how long he was plotting poop.

Steven Stamkos made a post today, poking fun of the NHL expanding their training facilities to 12 people instead of 6. NHL is a (frank)ing joke league

he's an anti-vaxxer. getting the 'rona is the only way he can build immunity as he would never get the vaccine.

Hannity - “What is one of your top priority items for a second term?”

Trump - “Well, one of the things that will be really great, you know, the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience. I’ve always said that. But the word experience is a very important word. It’s an, a very important meaning.”

Bloated - “WTF?”

Found this of interest:

https://www.google.ca/amp...irus-is-airborne.amp.html

Folks at FHA have suspected the virus was airborne for a while even though some said different. Would explain the massive rapid increase in infections in the US...

This virus is a complex little bugger.
