For the record, I'm good with benn and Strallman as players. You just have no realistic idea of how to get them where it makes the Pens better.

I still believe Ottawa is a team that could be coaxed into taking JJ. Ottawa, while still having players to sign to fill out their roster, is well below the cap floor. They are clearly in full rebuild.

Getting JJ would ensure some more bottom-feeding and I think if tempted with a little salary retention and that 1st? I believe it could be done.
